This is the time for giving, well I've certainly been giving plenty of cash, 500 litres of heating oil, 3 new tyres and a puncture repair, and to top it all, a 40000 mile service and MOT yesterday.

Looks like bread and jam for us this Christmas!

use public transport. sell the car .

In rural lincolnshire aa, there is very little public transport. A car is not a luxury but an essential.
I couldn't be without a care either, really does depend upon where you live and your circumstances.
I quite bread and jam as long as the bread is wholemeal, though better with a chunk of mature cheddar.

Seriously the thought of having to use the bus for shopping etc. would fill me with dread. I'll keep the car thanks.
