You're likely to get divided opinions on this, but as a newish eBay user I find a lot of people surf the site outside working hours. Therefore evenings and weekends would be favourite. Depending on the item, don't underestimate alcohol fuelled bravado on a Saturday night. If I had to pick a slot I'd say 22.00-.00.00 on a Saturday night!

Accepted peak browser time (UK) is sunday evening 7,8,9,10 pm time.

If I'm selling something, I always start a 7 day listing on Sunday evening, so that hopefully, more people will have nothing else to do then.

I would say the same on a sunday evening on a 7 day listing but again you will get mixed views on this and it also depends on the item you want to sell.
