Some of you may remember my thread where I mentioned I'd sent a picture of Fred Emney, rather than one of myself, when asked for a photograph by a woman I was chatting with on-line. I think this story in today's Belfast Telegraph confirms that I was wise to be cautious. Are there no depths these fraudsters and scoundrels won't plumb?

I wanted the conversation to continue.
Did you tell her that wasn't you in the photo?
Question Author
Yes, indeed. I said that I'd been told he and I are as alike as two peas in a pod. She never got back to me. :-(
ooooh sandy you are a one.
How did you chat to her on line, Sandy? Are we not enough?

Psybbo, it was on an American Christian site where I sometimes go for comfort and support after the stress of R&S here in AB. She swung the topic round to David:13 and soon after asked if I'd like to see some photos and would I send some of my good self. It was all downhill from there.
Ah, I understand now x
There was that tragic 16 y o lad who committed suicide under these circumstances. I dont suppose looking at the photo, you are 16 r u ?
Question Author
No, that's not her. That is clearly a picture of a young woman who's upfront about her faith and who has nothing to hide. My interlocutor had a hidden agenda of some sort.
