are you sure its not a system folder ?

The folder may have a hidden file or files in it. You need to un-hide the file, then delete it, then delete the folder.

This works under XP

Double click on the folder icon to open the folder.

From the Tools menu choose Folder options

Select the View tab.

Select the option "Show hidden files and folders" then press OK.

This should show any hidden files in the folder.

If you are SURE it is not an important Windows system folder then delete the "hidden" files then the folder.

From a command window, you can use :

rmdir /S
