I have seen adverts for a turntable and recorder system which transfer vinyl to cd without using a computer and has audacity installed. I cant find this device so what is it and does it use the audacity capability. I can d this the long winded way but to have it all done in one package seem ideal to me. Any ideas please and I don't need advice on using audacity or my current turntable etc. It is the convenience I would like.

Thank you. That seems to be what I want although I don't yet understand how audacity works with it. Evidently audacity software is provided but surely this needs a computer which I have with audacity already installed. I am a bit puzzled at the moment so I will try to get further information. At the moment I have a transcription turntable but recording into audacity on my computer is complicated. Thanks any way.
Maybe the particular turntable you are referring to has PC functionality as part of it ? If so I'd have thought it just as easy if not easier to keep track of, to create the file then transfer it the the PC you are more familiar with if you wish to mess around with the recording.
