What a load of hysterical stupid nonsense. Geo tagging adds data to your photos so that the point that the photo was taken can be pinpointed. So what?

Most cases of abuse and murder of children are done by a relative or friend of the family. Geo tagging will not make any difference to the safety of children.

If you follow the sub text of the television programme, you will not take any photos of your children until they are adult.

Dangerous, scaremongering drivel, ignore it.
Gromit - I think the article is just telling you to take care. I actually had a conversation with my god-daughter today about the fact that her 6 year old child is very traceable on the internet (cyber footprint) as she has a very unusual name, and my god-daughter is not happy about that.
