Posting To Europe

if something that is a large letter when posted in the UK (a thicker envelope) would it be classed as a letter or a small parcel for Europe

The only sure way of answering this is to pop down to your local Post Office
( if you still have one ! ) It used to be easy posting a letter.....just weight was checked, but now...its a bloody nightmare, according to my Sub Postmistress.

that,s the problem the nearest post office is a round trip of 2 hours on the bus (useless bus service now too)

Could you not telephone the post office and ask them?
