hi coobeastie, i cannot get through on that link it just says not found. i agree with you, why do they keep remaking all of the old children's classics. for instance, bill and ben and muffin the mule, to name a couple. i wish they would come up with some new ideas.

Disney ... Disney?????? .

This depresses me as much as finding new and improved splashed over the washing powder packaging. They're both going to bring me out in a nasty rash. Can't "they" leave anything alone? We're aw doomed, doomed I tell ye!

We used to have a car callled Evil Edna those were the days . Must leave, I have got to go and skip thro' the mists of time.............

adieu , lol.

dorindarasbe - to get through on the link, click it as normal, then in your browser's address bar highlight and delete everything after the first 'html'.

I see they've even managed to 'outcamp' the original by getting in James Dreyfus - possibly the only actor who can make Kenneth Williams look like Vin Diesel. :-)

Hope they haven't done anything horrible to the Moog, who was always my favourite

I have to say that this new series has faired better than a lot of "re-makes" if you want to call it that.

For the most part they have kept the same character designs, writing and animation styles.

You only have to watch Bill and Ben to see how remaking The Flowerpot Men has changed the series for a new audience, and the above mentioned Muffin the Mule. The Wombles that came along in the 1990's wasn't as good as the 1970's series.

Just to let you know, The Trap Door is being considered for a remake too.
