Not been to Liverpool for years..but have very happy memories there...pier head..ferry cross the Mersey...birkenhead market....Reeces department store with posh silver service restaurant ....liver building....

I was last there in the 70's. A bit different now I expect.

I was there last early 70 's....Will be very different..would like to return but afraid it would spoil my memory of the place

That's why I won't go back, as with many other places. The exception is Edinburgh, You never know, I might bump into someone. :o}

As I well remember. We were made very welcome. Often we were told 'We're coming to the castle for the tattoo tonight.' I loved it! :o}
