Do any abers have any knowledge of these? I was considering buying one for an elderly relative as a present for safety reasons. Are they worth the expense and how long do they retain their heat as opposed to ordinary bottles?

Jasmin Ha Ha I suppose she is a pet though so that's okay.
I just read the reviews and lots of people use them for them selves !
found the instruction (tag) !! which came with mine vakayu, and it only states an 800w microwave for 90 seconds. i'm maybe luckier than others that i'm able to alter my microwave settings.
sam, my microwave sets to 720 or 850. I am a confident microwave user and would set to 720, try it then maybe heat for a little longer, but you have to be prepared to try and be able to do it safely.
I have to heat mine for at least 3 minutes on high when it starts from completely cold - top-up after that for about a minute every 30 mins.
