Seriously - read this story and gauge how outraged you are.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2433055/Fighting-umbrellas-staff-picking-nose-Viewers-outrage-antics-BBC-News-workers-presenters-broadcast.html

So - after looking at the pictures, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being completely chilled and 10 being 'foaming at the mouth' - how outraged are you?

Do Daily Mail readers live in a constant state of fury?

I remember that sketch well JTH :)
Outraged? I'm trawwwmetised, another overworked word. Why can't people be a bit miffed instead of outraged and a bit upset instead of trawwwmetised. Before the grammar police get involved, I can spell it properly but American programmes have to answer for a lot. I didn't even put the preposition at the end of the final sentence either.
i think its a pointless thing - do the beeb really think anyone gives a toss what the office staff are doing? do they think we really need to see the office to reassure us that the bbc have a dedicated workforce?

or do we just want the news?

its an office like any other and all office activity is not spent sitting at a screen - people eat, people take breaks, people make jokes - its hardly a big deal

typical beeb bosses over thinking things - yet somehow not thinking hard enough
