The baby one which you keep indoors is cute.

Honestly, though, I think we'll all need bigger spaces to keep all the different bins that are required these days.

Has anyone re-arranged their garden/storage area/kitchen to accomodate these things?

We have a wheelie bin for rubbish and that is all. We did have a newspaper bin but it was stolen/disappeared.

I live in a flat and there would be nowhere to keep other bins.
Luckily we only have two large bags. Orange ones for paper etc were free, black bags for household waste also free.
We do go to the dump every few months with all other wasted things.
(Black bags we buy)
boxtops, our wee brown food bins can be made cat proof by swinging the handle round-thought you must have very clever cats lol-sorry.I misunderstood you. We don't have to pay for anything to be lifted except big articles or pieces of furniture, etc.Blue bin (landfill) and brown bin(food and garden waste) are emptied once a fortnight, grey bin(paper and cardboard) is emptied once a month and green bin(tins, plastic containers, empty plastic bags) once a month.
I have stopped using my food recycling bins because of a maggot problem. Will start again once it gets colder than it is at present and there are no flies around.
