So we will have ANOTHER Muslim protest today.

What do they hope to achieve!.

The cartoons were printed in a Danish paper, they have never (to my knowledge) been printed in UK, there has been two UK based Muslim protests already, so why on earth do we need yet another UK based protest.

All it does is make the Muslims seem like people who go on and on protetsting about the slightest thing, and give themselves a bad image amongst the rest of the UK population.

I used to love this country, but I am getting more and more sick of it every day.

Surely the mass immigration of the last 20 years has to be the worst thing we ever did. I hate to think what the future is going to be like.

Although I agree that the protests seem to have been going on for a bit too long, I think the muslims want soemthing to be done and to ensure that it does not happen again.
Anyhow, as long as the protests are peaceful in this country, (with the exception of the very first one) this is a democratic society and people have a right to voice their 'freedom of speech'. I don't see how exercising this right in this country makes someone an 'extremist' as some people seem to think??
The bottom line is, the muslims feel disrespected, they are trying to get respect by protesting and putting the fear of allah up us. If they want respect, they have got to earn it, just like the rest of british society. They certainly aren't doing themselves any favours with the behavior most of them are adopting at the moment.
Actually, the muslims don't feel they were personally disrespected but that their religion was- as many of them have pointed out- and as many of them take their religion seriously, you cannot say the cartoons were printed merely to practise freedom of speech and not to provoke.

The muslims are protesting as they want others to respect their religion ....not the muslims themselves.
