They seem to be being useful at the moment but vigilantes generally drift towards becomming lynch mobs.

Kromo - evidence presented in court has to be obtained using a strict set of guidelines which ensure that the evidence was obtained fairly and legally.

This rule is in place to stop any old bunch of testosterone-fueled numpties with a camera and a mob mentaility from going round to someone's house and intimidating them because they think they can.

So it appears the rule is working just fine.

In that case, what they're doing does seem fairy pointless and serves little purpose other than to make them feel important.

It is for men with too much time, too much of a sense of self-importance, and too much of an inclination to exercise their lynch-mob mentality.
