cloning with Photoshop

I am thinking of buying Photoshop elements 4, can I clone areas of an image with it. Pete D.

Yes you can! And it does the job very well.


As well as a standard clone, it also has a spot healing and a healing brush. The advantage is that with a clone tool, you have to select an area to copy from. If you want to remove a scratch from a scan of a photo for example, there may not be an area big enough. With the healing brushes, you just paint over it and it works out how to cover the area for you!


On top of all that, it has an excellent photo catalogue!


Probably more than you wanted to know, but I just can't recommend this excellent bit of software enough!!!!!

totally agree with matffox. superb software (and what's behind it is really a �500 piece of software with bit's that you'll never need unless you are in publishing cut out)
