Correcting Fluid Disaster!

My husband had a bottle of correcting fluid in his shirt pocket and the top was not screwed on firmly. He now has a white splodge on his shirt. Does anyone know how I can get rid of it? It's a very nice shirt............... Needs some kind of solvent I think, but what?
