Edinburgh Book Festival

Spent a day in Edinburgh last week at the EBF. Saw John Burnside, Ian Rankin in conversataion with Maj Sjöwal (Swedish Author) and Ruby Wax. Thoroughly enjoyable day out and ended up with a long list of books I want to read. Had never heard of Maj Sjowal before but apparently she wrote with her late husband and they wrote loads which have all been translated. Got "Roseanne" on my Kindle - first in a series of 10 - so I'll let you all know what I think.

Hi Maggie. I'm from Edinburgh, and used to go to the book fair every year. It was always great fun and VERY interesting. Lovely to meet favourite authors and chat to them. Glad you enjoyed the event.

I added Maj Sjowal, Jane Gardam and Susan Greenfield. Will give my feedback when I've read them.
