I haven't bought any trousers for 2/3 years, and all the ones I have are boot cut. I need to get some more now and wonder what style I should choose, or are they all equally OK.

I'm 72, size 16, don't like the jegging style, just want smart ones.

Hellywelly....I wear bootcut jeans because they suit my shape....not fussed about fashion. Think all my black trousers are probably that shape too.
For special trousers I like very long wide and floaty legged ones.
Just go with what suits and what you feel comfy in....x
I prefer boot cut, and hope they come back in fashion soon.
Go for straight.

Only £12, very comfy and look quite smart too.

Thank you all very much. I think I will go for straight leg. xx
Yes agree with with Rocky, straight leg are good.
why don't you go to a shop (marks is good because they label the styles) and try all the styles on then you will know what looks good on you. If you go on a sunday and get there when they open, the changing rooms are empty.
straights they never really go out of fashion.
I agree with woofgang. You need to try on different styles and see what suits you best.
The ones that zip off at the knee are in fashion:-)
Rusty's a follower of fashion!!!!? :-0
