I posted a while back about my 3 month old TV that went pop. Amazon were very good, collected the TV and gave me a full refund saying that model had been withdrawn from sale. I have been looking for a new one ever since. I wanted to buy from Amazon as their after sales service was very good. The TV I chose was delivered today. The courier knocked and then near battered the door in after only a few seconds. When I said give me time to open the door he said "time is what I don't have" When I asked if he would help me get it inside he said "I'm not paid for that" I realise the drivers are on a tight schedule but with his help it would have taken about a minute, on my own it took nearly 15 minutes and when I finally got it in I was knackered. I hope it was worth it. I don't blame Amazon, In retrospect I don't even blame the courier. Just a rant really.

Send them round Jordy. Hang on too late. Never mind.
Sounds like a right jobsworth.

TV is now in situ and tuned in. I bought a bigger one than the one that went pop. Please be a good TV and don't give me any more grief.
A former colleague ordered an expensive camera through Amazon and the person who tried to deliver it when he was out left it in his wheelie bin and didn't leave a note, he only found it by chance.
How rude...

Sounds like my postie Zebo. Not only does he leave parcels in the bin, it's usually the wrong bin and wrong house. We have a gathering to see who has got who's mail. We then get asked to sign a petition to stop the Royal Mail being privatised.
Yep, the sooner they're privatised, the better. Bloody useless organisation.
Jeza, pretty pointless answer I expect, but try and look after yourself. You're no good to anyone if you do your back in lugging TVs about.

Evening Sher. It's a DIY as there is no one else to do it for me. Not complaining about it, I was just having a rant.

How is Hereford, I went there often in the early 70's, I bet that was before your time. I loved the Cathedral and the chained library.

On another note, How is your Husband doing? Very well I hope.
