The Semi Final in the top half of the draw has been decided.

The Quarters finished ...

England 10 - 0 Wales

US 20 - 1 Haudenosaunee

So the first Semi Final is ...

US v England

We have to keep believing that we CAN do it.

We CAN knock the US out.

We can take them DOWN!

COME ON, ENGLAND!

I'd love to see some of this. I have two images of lacrosse. One from Enid Blyton's Malory Towers boarding school stories and the other from a very ferocious looking game played by huge, muscular men.
I wonder if the England team will merit a mention in the papers should they win the cup.

The other Semi has also been decided.

Scotland had an excellent Quarter Final win against previously unbeaten Japan, with a winning goal just 4 seconds from time. But they couldn't get past Australia.

And Israel never really stood much chance against Canada.

So Australia and Canada are through to the Semis, and the Semi Final line up now looks like this ...

US v England

Canada v Australia

Dare we dream of a Canada v England final ???????

Going by your reports only, I reckon a US v Australia final :-(

The Semis are today, alba, and the Final is 3.00pm Saturday (local time).

Yes, Australia could get there. Canada only have a small edge over Aus. But Canada are so desperate to win their home competition, I think they will make the Final.

It would be a major achievement for us to beat the US. But hey ho, guts and glory and all that. Fingers crossed.
