I would wash in hot soapy water, rinse and polish dry.

Wash with soapy water, rinse with hot water and when dry, polish with glass cleaner.

I don't know about black gloss but I once had a stainless steel fridge and it was a nightmare to keep the outside clean. I got rid as soon as I could afford to.

try a good quality car wax buff really well it will also help it resist marks for a while
