Tories 36% Labour 36% UKIP 7%.(Haven't got Lib Dems) [Sky News] If you were Labour's campaign manager, would you be worried? Why is Labour not doing better? My opinion is that the leader doesn't come across as a leader. That's depressing, considering that Cameron is a very long way from being Churchill (or Lloyd George, come to that, taking a different party). He is a standard pattern, cut out, upper middle.

Mikey, yes I know. That was in response to QM’s ‘man enough’ at 15:54 Tuesday – but that's already been acknowledged. Thanks anyway.

This is silly. I'll leave you to it.
Thanks, Mikey...saved me the trouble of looking for what I knew certainly existed even though I wasn't the one who wrote it!
And, Naomi, I'm just amused at your attempt to discuss a topic whilst failing to answer a perfectly reasonable question about your views. I thought presenting and querying points of view is what a "discussion" actually IS.

But hey ho!
QM, I had already acknowledged that it existed – and I answered your question. I grant you that due to your apparent inability to comprehend the content of my posts, I was eventually obliged to confine my answer to words of no more than two syllables, but nevertheless, in one way or another, I answered your question – and you’re still making a fuss. This is puerile and unnecessary. Grow up.
Ooh, I thought you said you were leaving us to it!
The two questions to which you have still not provided answers were whether you had any idea why there were no feminine equivalents of 'man enough' and 'man up'. Both are utterly straightforward linguistic queries and nothing whatsoever to do with my ability - or its absence - to comprehend you. All you had to say was, "No, I haven't a clue," given that that appears to be the case.
