I understand that alcohol can help. It does, it numbs your feelings. Fact is, it's a depressant, you will end up feeling worse.

Alcohol should be used to enhance our feelings....not disguise them.

Me and Albs will come round with our famous first aid kit...we work wonders..ask Slappy....no problem too small..or big.....sparklies optional... !! ...chin up diz..you'll get there...I did...thought it was the end of the world at the time...but .a bit of doggy duty will give you the opportunity to collect yourself, give you a purpose and help with your forward planning....one day at a time....a marathon starts with a few steps !! I am bit miserable Diz - cos I have a big bout of vertigo and some nausea - I too read of your posts and it is a very sad and hard time for you to get through. Of course you will get through it but take one day at a time. xxx

Alcohol does numb it but you have to face it again the next day.
