adobe elements 4.00

i've installed adobe photoshop elements 4.00 and when i go to my pictures it opens in photoshop ,i don't want to uninstall it, but how can i get "my pictures" to just open as it used to ,and if i want to use photoshop then i click on photoshop to use if and when i need it

Right-click on any picture file.
Select 'Properties'.
With the 'General' tab selected, click the 'Change' button next to 'Opens With'.
Select the program you want to open your pictures with.
Check that there is a tick in the box labelled 'Always open this type of file with this program'.
Click 'OK'.
Click 'Apply'
Click 'OK'.
