Toolbar On New Laptop.

just getting used to new laptop with windows 8. Sure had the tool bar with file edit,etc going across but since using things they are not visible on screen so please can someone tell me how to have again going across near to top of screen as before? Thanks.

Move mouse pointer to top of screen, right click, then click on menu bar.
