Went to see Ma in Care today. She's out of bed and in a chair...the problems of the past few weeks now being put down to the GP stopping her calming pills by mistake....Hmmm.
My arrival confused her and she thought I was a fairy....must be the way I walk.
I have a swelling above my lip from botched surgery..she noticed it..pointed and asked if it was going to go away. When I said no...she said...This might help...and punched me in the mouth. They lady next to her told her to behave....and punched mother...who punched her back.
I left them to it and went to check her room. When I returned ma looked at me...asked who I was and told me...You're a very big woman...whoever you are.
So this big fairy is going to sit in the rare sun with a coffee and ......laugh..
or cry....can't make up my mind...:-) x

My Dad was in hospital. Twice it was reported that he had fallen out of bed. Still bed sides were not raised.
When I visited daily he kept telling me that he could not find my mother, who had died many years previously and the Hotel was rubbish. Awful food and no entertainment.
Could only agree with him.
A glass of wine can be very restorative.
You're a sweetie...x

I know, gness LOL.

G'night all.

Night Tony...sleep well...x
Switzerland, here I come. Goodnight Tony
Just as well he didn't find the 'Hotel' drinks fridge, daisy! Hospitals can be so disorienting at the best of times - and that's just for the visitors!

Night, tony - must be an early shift........
I tend to agree with you, sibs........

I weep for us both - but we must hang on to memories.
My problem is that my lovely wife is so alert mentally and has so little to occupy her days - which is why I visit 6 times a week - so hard.
Wish I could join you for a relaxing glass of cheer.

Hi Jack...I only visit once or twice a week now...often my visits distress her more than if she is just left day dreaming...if that is what she does.
A relaxing glass of cheer would be a treat....Love Gx
