No....routine reply........only doctors are allowed to give the results of investigations...officially.
Breadstick.......my surgery now does this for everything.....if I want an appointment or results I am told the doctor will call me back....he does and always asks if I have time to talk now.....how sweet.... and he has a voice like melting chocolate so I love the system..:-) x
Not necessarily. Perhaps something that needs explaining, or a borderline result. I wouldn't worry too much x
At our surgery receptionists are not allowed to give any results except if an appointment might have been necessary and then they can say the doctor does/doesn't need to see you.
I was going to say the same as the others.

I tend to worry more when my GP rings me and asks how I'm feeling, it doesn't usually bode well! I ended up in hospital last time.
No doctor by law has to ring you.
No. most GPs will either ring you back, or ask their nurse to do it, if any further advice needs to be given. In our surgery they are still old-fashioned enough to write and post a letter - I just wish they'd use email - to ask me to make an appointment to see the GP to do this.
^^ conne, I've no idea what you mean by that.
Doctor rang me the other day and said I have not seen you lately weecalf I just told him straight out sorry I wasn't well
