Exactly....precision, hard work, dedication, discipline all on show.
Yes, watching it now stoke, absolutely proud of all them boys.
Absolutely. I loved drill when I was in the Army and I nearly joined the Welsh Guards, changed my mind at the last minute.
It's often a minor regret that I never got to do a Trooping, though I did get to do a couple of ceremonial duties in another capacity.
We went to the trooping of the colour a couple of yrs back and it was a day to remember --fantastic atmosphere all round. Sun was shining too.
We stood right in front, behind the barriers.

hi chill i had a mate in the welsh guards he took part in trooping the colour in the 90s he said it was his proudest day...
I'll bet SM. I did a KAPE tour locally(Keeping the Army in the Public Eye), Colour Parade in Dhekelia Garrison and a UN Medals Parade at Nicosia Airport, which was quite special and the odd ceremonial duty in W. Germany.

You definitely feel a foot taller and have a swagger about you when performing drill in your best kit.
When my husband was alive this was a must to watch. It is very impressive.

Yep, those guards regiments are terrific.
Nobody does pomp and ceremony like we do, we are the envy of the world in that respect and long may it continue.
