If I change from a Pay as you Go to a Rental Mobile, same network, can the SIM card be transferred from one phone to the other so I don't lose my credit? Thanks all. And is it better value to buy online or in a mobile shop??

if you are on the same network then you should be able to put the old sim into your new phone until you have used the credit and then put your new sim back in.

If you want to keep the same phone number, you can transfer it from PAYG to contract but you will lose any credit you have left.
i have bought a few contract phones over the past few years but the best deals i have had are from the adverts in the papers you can get a new phone with 300 mins and 300 texts on 12 month contract with 12 months free. you usually pay about 30 a month and get vouchers to get your money back. I done this twice with no hassle from one stop phone shop there are loads of these companys online
