As a Catholic...Yes....I do pray..more so in times of trouble...of which there have been many the last year !....however I don't expect a blinding flash and the virgin Mary to appear....I pray that God has given the appropriate skills to the appropriate people to achieve the desired outcome...and in my own case ...touch wood...my prayers appear to be well on the way to a satisfactory conclusion....and I thank all the professionals involved that..by the grace of God...have done so......

I don't believe in god so I didn't see the point.

I talk to something that may or may not be there, but more often I yell at them when I'm annoyed. Makes me feel a bit better letting them know they succeeded in upsetting me yet again.

Interesting. I think I do make a plea in a way of kind of putting it 'out there' not to an individual God as such, e.g 'Please let so and so recover', etc. It's just a way of voicing thoughts out loud to the Universe in general, I am not a believer as such. Can't really explain why I have done it.

for ratter 15 - no I dont look both ways - I am a chronic jay walker so there ya go hahhaa - have been all my life - traffic lights are perhaps 3 yards down - still proceed to jaywalk. I am going to be arrested for it some time.

I'm a (sometimes) practicing Catholic. I pray for my family and friends and I pray when I'm worried or scared. Recently I have been praying for my Dad. I tend to pray to God but I also find myself praying to my Nonna and my Uncle and ask them to look after all my friends and family who have passed and also for my friends and family here.

"God works in mysterious ways his wonders to perform" I thank God for my faith. My brother who died last year did not practise being a Catholic for many years yet some months before he died I met him coming out of church and he said "Ah I am just in the waiting room - so need to meet my maker"

yes, I do pray.It brings me comfort and helps me to quieten my mind and get my sometimes chaotic thoughts into perspective.
