Where would you take an 11 year old and two or three friends for a birthday treat. I would like to spend around £100 but no more.

Ice skating or roller skating then to Nandos are somewhere similar after.
I took my daughter and her friends bowling, then took them to Nandos, but did not sit with them.. they liked that, felt grown up with no adult at the table with them!

Bowling ! i think i might go with that .
Paint balling ,bowling, go-Karting, roller skating or a film (with a meal afterwards )
Ummmm - why do you have to be so confrontational all the time ? whats wrong with makeovers at 11 -have you had any girls? Some girls are very girly at that age -others tomboys - my two nieces both had mini makeovers - just their hair and nails done and a couple of photos taken -then a pizza -all their friends were picked up in a stretch limo and taken to the spa that had special days that catered for 9 - 15 year olds .
What is confrontational about my answer?

Yes, I do have a daughter and a make over at the age of 11 is not something I would even consider. I also have nieces and lots of younger cousins and, imo, they really don't need encouragement.
i would go with food and a film, you could pay for both, but leave them to it. Take them to a place say nandos or similar, what food does she like, and then see what films they might want to see. If you are near a mall they usually have cinemas and restaurants inside, so you could potter off, leave them to enjoy their food, film, but be close enough to keep an eye out. You could even get in some retail therapy for yourself, if that's your thing...
One daughters birthday was (still is but she's over 40) in February - we usually took a car load of her friends to the ice rink or swimming, then to the chippie or home for sandwiches, cake and jelly. The others had summer birthdays so we often went for picnics to the local castle, or forest.
If she's a tomboy and you have a Go Ape! near you I would highly recommend the tree top adventure.
