Putting Images Onto A Flash Drive

Hi I have 50 images i want to put on a flash drive Imake a folder and drag and drop the images on to it ,renaming them as i do it 1,2,3 etc I then send them to the flash drive but when i play them back they are not in sequence 1,2,3 etc.
What am i doing wrong?

I don't know if this will help but try labelling label them 01,02,03.... 09,10, 11,12, 13....... 50 to keep them in numerical order.

Maybe they are being stored and played aphabetically instead of numerically, check the settings.

Your picture player might be set to play them in any number of ways - file name, date taken, file size - even random
