Blue/purple Plant In Garden

i have a blue/purple plant that is spreading in my garden, the flowers are bell shaped and the plant grows about 12/18 inches tall, this plant dies in autumn but grows back again in the spring, could it be borage?

Borage flowers are open not bell shaped though. Bluebells is obviously too obvious?

If it's none of the above can you describe the leaves please? Oval, long, hairy, smooth? And how big are the flowers?
