I wonder how many on here are prepared to state that the three who attacked the prison warder weren't Muslims after all, but three EDL members in disguise?

not a good point AOG.
People should not be told who they must pray for. It. Has to come from the heart. To make people pray for something that they do not want to is more than daft.

Unless it was the football hooligan wing, I cannot claim they were EDL supporters.
For all we know it was two atheist inmates getting narked at being told what to do by an Imman.

Are you a Full Sutton insider AOG and know all the facts?
Why would EDL members be in prison?
Gromit, I agree with your disgust at the edl but not how you connect them with football. The sole word 'hooligans' is adequate.
No, EDL members being true patriots, peaceful, and lovers of freedom for all they would never attack anybody (as we saw in the news footage from Whitehall yesterday)

Does any body know whether the two ex-soldiers charged today with firebombing a mosque are EDL members? Doubt it (see above); they are just former soldiers.

"The three prisoners, two aged 25 and the other 26, were thought to have..."
"The warder hostage was said to have..."
"Prison authorities were reportedly..."

Sources say 'not much and most'.

Any other good journalistic weasl phrases?
Why is nobody nowadays "just a little miffed" or "somewhat annoyed" but invariably subject to "mounting fury" or "growing outrage"?
Well, you seem to be the first person to raise the possibility AOG.

I wonder why.

Trolling perhaps.

I wonder why the Daily Fascist felt it necessary to publicise the religion of the alleged attackers.
AOG

What prompted this (slightly odd) post?

The clue is in the report, read it.

It is a topical news story, taking into account recent events.

The reason for my later comment, simply because some refuse to criticise Muslims for their misdeeds, (see, why did they find the need to quote their religion) but would rather place the blame on other groups such as the EDL, (please read the post on the defacement of the Bomber Command Memorial).
