I have taken a correction dose Headwreck, which should drop me by 14 units and had my normal slow acting insulin. Its more the constant need to drink that makes it a long night the more you drink the more you have to go.

Dad will get me up in a few hours to check my sugars again to see how things are going along.

Me too Headwreck, just about to go give it a bash now. Cross your fingers for me :)

Its good that they are aware of the situation and are prepared to check on me through the night. Dad will check when he goes to bed, if mum's up through the night she might wake me to check again, but if I'm up of my own accord I'll check myself.

I shall fill you in tomorrow how it all pans out :)

Speak soon

I finally got to rest about 5am this morning. Still feeling really rough but its to be expected, dropped gradually through the night but still got some work to do :)
Hi there Queenie.......Sorry to hear that it was 5.am before you had some rest. Hope things have started to pick-up as the day has progressed.

Hey Alston, things seem to be progressing well, I'm still on the wrong side of 10 but currently sitting at 11 so I'm not far off where I want to be, just be glad when its back to normal, things have been a little dodgy today as my meter is unaware of what has happened. So I'm having to think a bit harder when it comes to bm's and how much I'm going to eat and gauge how much insulin I will need. Just be glad when its tomorrow - new day new start :)
