Photos To Pc

I have a Aspire 10" laptop.
I have camera plugged in with cord to pc.

Where do i pick up the page where photos are to be put? (My pictures)
I havent got a clue where to start (dont laugh) many thanks pusskin

Open My pictures folder and open your photos (2 windows)

Drag & drop photos into My Pictures or 'Select all' from photos and 'paste' to folder.

Thanks tamborine, have done as suggested, maybe i've done it wrong as my photos have ended up in photos Library, and i cant see any where that says Folders. Havent dragged or copied anything, just let them run from camera to pc. Thanks for you help x

Menu has 'select all'
right click mouse for copy/paste
Right click mouse on desktop, select new for a folder & name it
Right click mouse to paste selected items.

Hmmm, yes, but will have to come back and think
on this one.
So easy when you know how! lol.
On upstairs pc ages ago, I put photos on with no problem,cant understand why its so different on my downstairs laptop.
I even made folders for each and every family and friends!
