Someone I know surfs quite a lot from his work PC, and reckons that when he re-boots, a number of the sites have placed their URLs in his Favourites, some on his Icons, and a couple have even plonked themselves on his opening Default. I've never had this problem, so does anyone know if this happens, and if it is normal, and if it can be prevented. He does eem to be getting rather steamed up about it, and is arriving first every day to make sure he powers his PC up before anyone else sees it. I'm baffled!

It does happen. The type of sites that do this routinely are some very questionable porn sites...no wonder he wants to be first in. I think you can avoid this if you turn off the accept cookies function.
