When I try and access some web pages I get an error which reads" cannot find server or DNS error". This only happens on some web sites and never on others. Anybody know what could be causing this and what the remedy is?

Thanks,

Alan.

It usually means that the web address you are using does not exist - you may have mistypes, or the website may have closed down

The web address definitely exists as I connect to it via a shortcut in my favourites folder. Sometimes I get a connection and other times I get the error message.
It could be that you are losing your internet connection, albeit temporarily. If it happens again, check your network settings (in the Control Panel).
