I have decided to sell my car but could do with some advice as could do with a quick sale.

1. Where can I find out the value of it so I can ask a reasonable price.

2. How can I best sell it? Online, local paper?

I buy & sell cars. Tell me what you have got & I will give you some prices. What part of the country are you in ? How quickly do you need to sell ?

99Hammer -

I currently own a Fiat Marea 1.6, W reg with only 46,000 on the clock and in good condition.

a Marea SX 16valve 4 door manual is valued at about 800 / 850 in very good condition for a "trade in" to a dealer. I guess the dealer (Fiat main dealer) would expect to sell it for about 2000, so privately you might expect to get somewere in the middle, say 1300 - 1400

Parkers price guide on autotrader.co.uk gives a slightly lower garage dealer selling price & a higher "trade-in" price. They give a similar private sale price. If someone offered you 1300 - 1400, grab the money & run like hell !!!

To sell, try autotrader on line 15 for two weeks, the local free papers & loot (both free to advertise).

Good luck
