I'm always looking at houses and different area of the country and wondered...whereabouts in the country would you prefer to live if you could (town etc) and why?

Where i am now (Hampshire) as it is great being by the sea and has good weather in summer, although if it only rained at night in winter that would be ideal.

brighton - real mix of old and young. great social life - bars, restaurants, theatre, comedy, etc. also great shops. you're one hour from london. you can live by the sea. fab place. i lived there for three years and really miss it.(stuck in london now cos the wages are higher)

only downside is the crap traffic and lack of parking.

St Ives, in cornwall. Its has the best views and crime is a null. The place is speachless it has the best beaches cliff tops and walks. You have a look online and see if im wrong. its also been voted the 4th best place in the world to stay
