Personally I thought these sentences were harsh in the first place, but if you're given an 8 month sentence wouldn't it make sense to serve more than a quarter of it?

True, true ! But I understand that the Huhne chap was released from Leyhill Open Prison. When I drove past the other day, there were lots of cons out working in sun.
