How about dressing him up as an old fashioned teacher in a mortar board and black cloak, similar to the outfits worn by students on graduation.
A more modern style could be a checked jacket with leather arm pads and a stuck on red, false beard. That's a woodwork teacher, circa 1970's for sure.
Dont forget the cane!!

Best wishes and good luck!

Drusilla has echoed my thoughts, except, as a fifties teacher, he would also need a cane, I doubt if he'd be allowed to take one in, maybe some thought could be put as to what could take its place.

Chemistry teacher - white coat, clipboard, glasses

Gym teacher - track suit

Cookery teacher - apron & mixing bowl

Art teacher - smock artistic clothes with paint splashes

French teacher - striped teeshirt, beret, onions, french stick

Dance teacher - ballet outfit, flamenco outfit, etc

Woodwork teacher - gardening teacher - you get the idea, if it can be learnt, it needs a teacher!!

All the male teachers in my school seemed to wear a tweed jacket with those leather oval elbow patches and have a pipe in their top pocket!
Solarjunkie.... you wouldn't be a teacher by any chance would you?!?!?! Or do you just have a very varied wardrobe!!!! On a more serious note, great ideas, and thats the beauty of this site, you learn something new every minute!
