I would appreciate your advice about which electric shaver I should buy, please. (Manufacturer and model number).
What have you found the most comfortable shaver to use?
The prices on the Internet range from about £30 to £300.
I am mainly interested in comfort to use rather than price.
As I am retired, I am not bothered about what used to be called "the five o'clock shadow".
At present, I shave once a week with Gillette Mach 3 Turbo blades. I would rate my facial hair as "tough"
Thank you.

Have you considered growing a beard?

I have similar tough beard problems, and have used top of the range Philishave models, but find as I get older, they are less effective.

Eh? is that a mistype?

Once a week?
In those far off days when I was working, I always used a Philips electric shaver. It was quick and did a good job. When I retired I decided to do the job properly and revert to the wet shaving of 40-odd years ago. I now use (every day) traditional shaving soap with a proper brush and a disposable razor which lasts about a week. Not expensive and a very good shave. I see no reason even to consider going back to electric.
Phillips PT860, does a good job and you can swill it under a tap.
