What do you men out there prefer?

Hubbies cut himself a few times lately and I'm going to treat him to an electric shaver. Good idea?

Chuck could've been walking past his ex in the buff, while she was waxing her winkie.

The best shave I ever had was from a barber using a "cut-throat" razor. Now I use Gillette Mach 3. I never cut myself with these blades. When I used to shave with the old fashioned double edged blade, I occasionally cut myself, but I could stop the bleeding immediately by covering the cut with a piece of tissue.
\\First, fill the basin with water hotter than you can stand (you have to man up for this bit!)

Soak a facecloth in the hot water, don't wring it out, quickly hold it over your chin and beck, and face, and press on all the places that have hair growing.\\

Andy,,,,surely I am missing something here......if it is "hotter than you can stand", how do you hold the soaking wet facecloth?

If you manage that bit.........why doesn't it scald your face?

How do you wring out a facecloth that is drenched in water hotter than you can stand?
LOL Sqaddy.

Stubble or short beards though for me though.
Ha, ha.

Just realised what I posted.

I don't have stubble or a short beard. I meant for men obviously!!

Morning all. I wanted to come on my post but have to dash out now.
back later, have a good day everyone x
stubble? Just love the sensation of kissing a hairbrush.

Anyway, you shouldn't normally cut yourself - has he got spots he's slicing open, or are the blades getting old and dull, or is he holding it at the wrong angle? Electirc doesn't suit everyone, so it might be worth checking if there's a way of getting a better wet shave first.
I have a wet electric shaver. Philips CoolSkin. One of the best appliances I have ever owned.
I use a a Gillette contour plus, which is about 20 years old, shave every other day in the shower also after watching an episode of QI I experimented without shaving foam and haven't used any for about 3 years just keep the face wet. Takes no more than 5 minutes and although I have never used electric cannot imagine I could get a closer shave.
Stubble ain't prickly jno. It's got past the prickly stage. Just a mm makes a lot of different. I just don't like smooth faces on men. I like them rough!!!
depends on the whiskers, Lottie, some men have them silky and some bristly.
hubby has a really strong thick facial hair, as does son, but the stubble honestly doesn't prickle like a face that just needs shaving.

I have never seen Mr LL without facial hair. I have known him 43 years!! The beard is now more stubble like and grey - not the 70's beard he used to sport!!!
