Very true boxtops
Lots of channels, little money to make each program, small audiences, declining TV advertising revenue.

Result - loads and loads of crap TV programs.

Get used to it.

You mean get conditioned to it.
well it fits, crap products for crap programmes will mean a consistent approach.
Any of you actually watched it? I watched last week's and will watch the others too. I actually like, and find interesting, programmes about different businesses. I don't like period dramas - so don't watch them, I don't like sport - so don't watch it, etc. Each to his own.
I wanted to watch it, but forgot about it ! Will try and watch the next one.
Agree with boxy's first post.
I arrived at work one night recently to see some of my collegaues in the rest room watching TV. They were transfixed by someone in one of those 'sumo' suits, but this was complete with breasts and pubic hair. I realised that it was one of the X factor programmes/spin-offs(I'm unsure which and care even less!).
What shocked me is that this sort of programme is even made and supposedly passes for 'entertainment'.
Some of the great British public really do strike me as nothing more than mouth breathers who will watch anything as long as it's connected with the X factor.
Diabolical.
^ It was Britain's Got Talent.
I've watched it .Having worked in a bakery myself I find it really interesting.
Some of the staff are so funny ,especially the lady in the Stratford branch .She cracks me up .She's so cheerful and hard working. I didn't realise that they raise a huge amount of money for charity too .Last night they showed some staff at one shop doing a calendar ( a la Calendar Girls) for charity .Lovely women and they all obviously enjoy working there .
