I didn't think that they'd escape again this season but they're getting results as the season comes to an end. I reckon that the Di Canio effect will disappear (if it hasn't gone already) and so Sunderland will take the drop if it's not to be Wigan.

i asked about Wigan because i've bet on them losing both of the last 2 games so they've cost me money, and it's strange how they've ended up in this same predicament for several seasons now

Just watched Wigan on MOTD, they had a never say die attitude that could see them safe, to go to West Brom and win is no mean feat, they could even give City a shock in the FACup (hopefully)

As mentioned elsewhere, had they lost yesterday, Wigan could have been relegated and won the cup on the same day. Now the former looks only slightly more likely than the latter.
