Scampi And Chips

They so do alba, thanks for reminding me, gluttony is meant to be a sin, it's a delight for me. I have chives in the garden,butter in the fridge.. sorted :)

Kyles, it makes a nice change, we haven't had it for a while though, abit fiddly rolling and making sure there's enough butter and it doesn't over-cook, but tasty :-D

Got my brother and sister in law and their 6 month old baby for the weekend so I've thrown a forest of herbs over a couple of chickens with garlic and lemon halves we shall (7) of us all eat that with salad, flat bread and some jacket potatoes. Mr Giggles (the baby) will be having half a small mashed banana in a couple of tablespoons of wholemilk yoghurt, and around 14oz of milk!

Fresh cream sherry trifle for pud. Or Magnums

We were having a bbq, but I just don't have the energy. So I guess Mr BM will just have to plate up random cold meats/quiche/salad that are in the fridge and that will have to do.

So, we've had our starters....a highlander which got 2/5, a sidecar which got 1/5, and finally a D'Artagnan which was marginally better at 3/5. Trouble is, all cocktails are measured against a margarita and all fall very far short.
Just about to fire up the BBQ, time for another experimental cocktail I think...
Ps. Still rather fancy scampi and chips.

The beach is absolutely buzzing ... like rammed out.

Just changing, and then heading down to the bar, and some more sunshine, yay.

And tomorrow ... the BF is coming over, woo hoo. God, I love weekends.
