Well first you take a drill.....

Seriously, I don't have one but I should imagine that the connections are on an open side rather than the bit which goes against the wall. I mean, they would have taken that into account when designing. If you have a plasma already and I'm wrong, then the only thing I can suggest is you contact the manufacturer/supplier for advice.

Same way the mains plug is?

What I meant was - it kind of takes away the look of a plasma TV hanging on your wall if you have wires down your walls.

To get the 'no wires on display at all' effect you need to sink them into your plaster, by chiselling/cutting a channel (aka 'chasing out'), sinking a conduit tube, then replastering and painting - granted it makes a mess of your existing wall, but having invested a reasonable amount of cash in a plasma, its worthwhile doing.

Alternatively you can run the conduit tube on the surface of the plaster, but this doesn't give the 'minimalist' look most people are after.

if you have a plasterboard wall on studs, it is a bit easier in terms of minimal redecoration, but can be a bit fiddly. You'll be glad to hear you aren't the only person to face this challenge:
