Last year I bought some winter tyres. To date they have not even seen any snow! Now I am going to have a go and putting the normal tyres back on. It suddenly dawned on me that the tyres revolve in different directions depending on what side they are on. How do I know which side to put the tyres ~ are they marked, and secondly, what torque setting should I put my wrench on when tightening the bolts?
Thank you in anticipation, best wishes, David.

Some tyres are marked with direction arrows and the arrows should point in the direction of travel.
Regarding the torque setting you would need to consult your manual as this varies according to the exact make of your vehicle.
directional tyres always have arrows/markings on them...
Directional tyres have arrows non directional ones have Inside/outside markings.
are we talking about tyres or wheels?
I think the multiple usage of the word "tyres" is a strong indicator here woofgang.
why? you can change just tyres or they can be attached to wheels
