Whenever I send myself emails I never get them. In the past I used to receive them but now I don't know what is going on.

I have not used PayPal in over a year maybe two. Yesterday I tried using it and could not log in. I thought perhaps I had forgotten my password (impossible because I have it written down) and requested to make a new one.

PayPal's instructions were they would send me a code and I use that code to help in the process of creating a new password. I never received the code although it was sent to me. I did the creating password about six times and never got the emails with the codes.

I then called PayPal and spoke to someone who verified all my information, and they give me a code, and also emailed me it to create a password. I still never got this email either.

My questions are -
1. where did these email go, what happened to them?
2. And if supposedly these emails went to someone else, could they use the code to do get into my PayPal account, eventually?

Thanks for looking at my question, and for your help.

Ok, then /I fear I am stumped. Can only suggest contacting yahoo and describing the issue. Maybe they can see what is happening. Perhaps if they try to send you an e-mail and see i doesn't arrive that'll kick them off to fixing it.
I don't understand any of the above advice, however, I know that a few years ago when I could not access my yahoo account easily i set up mail forwarding to my hotmail account and so since then any mail sent to my yahoo is forwarded straight to my hotmail account and never appears in my yahoo inbox
I'm not sure whether you saw my earlier post- do you have the picture of a little cog at the top that I have on Yahoo mail?

Many thanks to all of you for your help.

Factor, yes I saw your post and was busy investigating that's why I took a while to reply. I did check out the option button, and hopefully was able to solve my issues from there. Options, settings etc.

I think what I did wrong was send myself and PayPal to the spam folder. I removed all the 'blocked' addresses from the spam folder and then sent myself an email. And magic, I got it. :)

Thanks again everyone for your help. xx
